she is at a poetry reading that is held in a bar in Worcester (the nearest city to me, about 30 minutes away). the bar is called "The Hotel Vernon" although it isn't a hotel. It's also known as the "Kelley Square Yacht Club" and has a back room called the "Shiproom" (the room in which she is sitting), that is designed to look like the interior of a ship. the booths have lighted "portholes" (as seen in the picture), and there is an actual ship's wheel on the stage where the poets read. they also have musicians play in that room as well on different nights of the week. the place has alot of history, it was built in 1901. the singer Burl Ives sang there. i think it may have been a speakeasy during prohibition in the 1920's. and supposedly it is haunted. the show GhostHunters filmed there twice!
a very interesting place. my sister & i go to the poetry readings they have there every thursday night to enjoy some poetry and nice cold drink.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
